Last Night

These are photos I took a few hours ago. Pat (potskilove) and I decided to meet up in Ayala to talk about the tumblr meet up and get to know each other more before White Day Cebu. We’ve been talking for a year now and we kept on planning to meet up but for some reason, the plan always fails.

Luckily, this afternoon, we still managed to meet up in Ayala despite the rain. It was raining really really hard but that didn’t stop me from going to Ayala to finally meet Pat. It was worth it. We walked around, looked for stuff needed for the meet up until we bumped into 2 of my friends (Jan and Brosef) and when they left, Pat and I decided not to go home yet. We talked about tons of things, and didn’t even notice the time. We met up around 6:30pm and went home around 12:30am!

Thank you Pat! I haven’t had a talk like that in years! We obviously didn’t want the night to end, haha!

Give me a giant Nutella and I’ll consume this all.

Walking around Ayala, my friend suddenly exclaimed “That’s one big PBR”.
We looked again, it’s a giant Gardenia. :| MGA HIPSTER!

May 28, 2011 - Cebu is a Tough Crowd

The Cebuano crowd is really tough. Izarzuri Vidal, an opera singer who won in Hollywood, is known for her powerhouse soprano voice and her flawless performance. We were walking around in Ayala when I heard her singing, and the crowd clapped after each song. She’s really good, and I thought the crowd would be in standing ovation after her performance. I was close to screaming. It was ok, I guess. At least they clapped loud enough. Haha.

After Izarzuri, Sheena Halili came with around 6 guards surrounding her, but no one was paying attention. Before she started singing on stage, she asked the crowd: “Gusto niyo ba kong marinig kumanta, mga taga-Cebu?” the crowd remained silent. She had to repeat the question to get an answer. When she started singing, she had to urge the crowd to clap for her. In Manila, when people see Sheena Halili in SM, or wherever, the crowd would go running and screaming to get her attention. I love the Cebuanos for giving me justice. Haha!

We went out because I couldn’t take the scene inside the mall. I saw some kids playing football outside and decided to take pictures of them. Miguel, a friend of mine called me and said he was sitting just a few meters away from us. He was watching his little brother in the mini football field.

“Who are you?!” Luigi shouted. Haha. He always say that whenever he sees me.

May 19, 2011

Lance and I went to Ayala to eat Yogurt last May 19. We’ve both been craving for yogurt for the past few weeks and we finally decided to go to Red Mango.

We came up with a mouth watering mix of Green Tea Yogurt with cheesecake, bananas and banana crunch for toppings.

 Lance, flipping through my notebook.

We finished it in less than 10 minutes, haha! :D
